Users also raised concerns about the straps being too thin, as they believed they would dig into skin uncomfortably. To solve these issues the straps were made highly adjustable, wider, and padded, giving the users maximum comfort and control over tension. During this process the strap was simplified and the stretchy silicone material was abandoned as it was found that it was not an appropriate solution.

One of the most important goals of prototyping was to develop an appropriate visual language. Several users pointed out that the massager looked as though it might be worn on the chest. This required a
re-imagining of the form.  Metaphors were taken from durable products such as back packs and sporting equipment to create a unisex form that accurately communicated how the massager should be worn. While the massager can be used on many parts of the body, the form should communicate a primary use as a back massager.
